Stag Film!

No, actually it's just the name of the film; STAGS. An indie-feature comedy, once described as "Sex in the City for dudes". But it made me laugh out loud and I'm a hard sell. Playing ELOISE, the main character's ex-girlfriend...from the 90's. Keep an eye out, more on this one later.

The Absurd, The Dark, The Melodramatic

Tuesday, August 5th: Erika Yeomans' For The Rest Of Your Natural Life Productions is curating a night of short films from all different filmmakers, including a peek at The Bitter End; "A Bunuelesque short... that plays with the thrill of peril and the evolution of a friendship while adrift at sea".

Monkey Town HQ 8 N 3rd St (btw. Kent & Wythe) Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Here's the full lineup...

Summer Shorts

Just finished shooting Leah Chen Baker's THE SLEEP STUDY as NATASHA (Lead) with LBC Productions in East Hampton (I'm really liking this trend). If I tell you about it I will have said too much.

Back to School

"Television is an invention that permits you to be entertained in your living room by people you wouldn't have in your home."-Sir David Paradine Frost

On Camera Class with Ms. Heidi Marshall. Through October 1st.

THE BITTER END

A film by Christine Giorgio and Stella Films. Playing HELENA (Lead).

It involves a sailboat, a series of mysterious disappearances, and of course, serious self-reflection.

Scheduled to begin shooting September 21st...in the Hamptons. Not gunna complain about that.

IOWA AKHBAR at the Director's Company

As part of their Theatre in the Rough series of new works, the Director's Company is hosting a reading of Aaron Carter's new play, Iowa Akhbar. Come hear me and some friends give this gruesome, wonderful, weird piece its first breath.

Sunday, September 23rd, 5pm

The Director's Studio 311 West 43rd St. 4th Floor (btw 8th & 9th)

$10. Reservations: directorscompany@aol.com

More info about the series, Aaron's bio...etc: www.katherineandfriends.com

Here's their Pitch: "KNF is "theatre in the rough." A few cubes. Some actors. A lot of theatrical magic. We're bringing theatre back to the basics: emerging artists sketching out innovative, original ideas and new works being presented - for the very first time - before hitting the boards in full-out production. Our series is the place to take chances and make bold choices in front of an intimate audience of industry and patrons of the art"
